This fast paced well written thriller gripped me from the start with it’s excellent complex plot. The story starts when a teenage quarrel turns into a deadly shootout that has far reaching consequences. I’ve never read anything by this author before but will definitely be checking out the 1st & 3rd book in this series. There is also a certain amount of violence throughout but not quite as bad as the first apparently.

Apparently this is the second book in the series & I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story does not drag at all as the author pulls you in to this engrossing storyline. Police chief Jeffrey Tolliver who is involved in the crime scene investigates the terrible tragedy.

This book is not for the feint hearted as child paedophile rings are involved. It soon becomes clear the first death Is not all as it seems as another young girl gets abducted.

Sarah Linton a medical examiner & paediatrician finds herself embroiled in the tragedy. Engrossing crime thriller.
