About this deal

The best driver for Atheros AR9271 chip devices, such as ALFA Tube-UNA or AWUS036NHA for Windows 10 is this driver. Compatible with Kali Linux 11ac dual band USB wireless adapter AWUS036ACH brings extreme distances and with blazing speed to your Mac or Windows computers in your WiFi network. Note that after installing, the device will appear in Device Manager as "TP-LINK Wireless USB Adapter" instead of Atheros or Alfa. Up to 300Mbps for 2. Soon ALFA will roll the driver into their own branded release but until then, it will be normal to see the Atheros device identified this way in Device Manager after doing the driver installation. Overview: This is because TP-Link is associated with Microsoft as the Device Developer ID of the Atheros chipset.

Works on Linux Virtualbox and Windows 10 as host and distance is great too. Highly recommended. I have a RPI in a shed as a security system and power controller, it has been running for over a year, but the onboard wifi is a little flaky due to it being outside the house and signal having to penetrate the house wall. The best features is the chip set as it has extra features such as Monitor mode and packet injection support.

I used this to extend the range on the wifi from a Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2 that runs in my shed powered from a solar-charged 110 Ah leisure battery. The picture is the internal and this connected to the same router on the same SSID as a comparison, as can be seen both the link quality and level are greatly improved. Other wifi dongles had worked intermittently or not at all. I have to admit it works fantastically.
