Don’t cheap out on the solution. She is doing well but still has her days, and for those days, we set up astroturf in the balcony. Place it in a bucket w/water or without.

I gave this odor eliminator a try and It really works. It's a clear liquid and the product scent is much more subtle, and different from, the green colored version. – I use a big watering can instead of spray hose. Now this is a large, wool area rug so this is probably not the recommended cleaning technique but this was our last ditch effort to save it because im not keeping a rug that smells like urine!

We've found Simple Green odor eliminator to be perfect for hard surfaces as well as grass and dirt areas. Installer recommended this product so I purchased the sprayer and an extra gallon.

Today was the perfect day since it’s a bit overcast, not super hot at all. ! I spray about 25% of the bottle then wait about 30 mins then do it again, I try and keep it wet for a few hours. Every 3-4 days, I pick up the soiled grass and place down the clean one.

8z of solution per gallon of water. I'm using it to clean the faux grass I use on my dog's "Pet Loo" indoor potty. I have two dogs and it lasts about 2 to 3 weeks before the smell gets really bad. The smell will be there for about a day or so then once grass drys out the smell is gone.
