Also shoved a few halves of lemon up its bum. But the visual and mental gymnastics required to set an accurate temperature prevent me from giving it 5 stars, sorry.

Will never cook a chicken in the regular oven again. 4kg chicken (ever so slightly bigger than ideal) and it worked absolutely fine on 200 for 40 minutes.

This air fryer looks great I haven't used it yet just setting it up & it's running a 15 minute cycle as suggested in the manual before any food is cooked in it, the fan is louder than my old one and slightly louder than a fan assisted convection oven. What is it with Tower? I will update this review after a few months use but my initial opinion is positive as I expected it seems good build quality I like the touch controls & rotisserie feature I live alone so have no need for a larger one*4 week review - cooks well I have cooked roast potatoes, bacon, chips, baguettes, two rotisserie chickens & a 1.

! This airfryer looks elegant, fits onto my work surface more easily than my unwieldy halogen oven, has a viewing window and easy access to whatever is cooking, and it seems to do what I need it to (I agree with another comment about the rotisserie fittings getting in the way of spacing the shelves evenly, though).

Only downside I notice is the shelves & other metal utensils are fairly cheap quality imo but for what I paid I'm still very happy with it ? What temperatures do the spots indicate? What is Tower's problem?

Thermometers manage it. I’ve used this a couple of times now, once to cook picky bits like chicken dippers and sausage rolls etc, and once to cook a roast chicken on the rotisserie setting. 45kg rotisserie pork joint so far, the rotisserie is very small but I knew this it cooks a 1.
