You never truly know what another person is thinking or feeling even if they might seem rude or abrasive as Archer showcases many times throughout the story. The chapters counting down the days Archer had left I thought was a brilliant touch and reminded me as I read what had already happened in the past could very well still be his future. I love this book!

When I got to the last page, I was sad that the book was ending I wasn’t quite ready to leave the world of Archer and Hadley - I’ve actually already read this book twice! When I saw it got published I had to buy to support the amazing author. Archer I also loved, I liked how as he got to know Hadley, he softened a little around her.

If you are looking for an interesting read with relatable characters and a supernatural element, then you won’t be disappointed with In 27 Days. In 27 Day’s is the debut novel from author Alison Gervais.

Read it on Wattpad years ago and have read it almost every year since. I think the way Alison has crafted a story centring on such sensitive and important issue’s as suicide and mental health in a very carefully considerate way is refreshing. I rooted for them both from the beginning and as the stakes starting rising, I felt my nerves do the same.
