Elephant in the room time though. As I mentioned before, though, my reviews are never based on aesthetics, but functionality. The comments board on any iPhone news is always full of people trying to shoot down Apple, whereas iPhone owners rarely bother about what Android are doing.

Everything is slick in operation, easy to navigate and intuitive to use. I do also have an Android-based phone for business use so I am well aware of the different ups and downs of both ecosystems.
Hue, Nest, Alexa, Sonos, Logitech are all solid on Apple. Except for the camera(s).
