The keyboard works just fine with windows based pc’s I have noticed no startup password quirks. Overall, if you don't mind of using attached dongle, that keyboard will work well. It doesn't even take a second for it to respond to the Mac, which for me is one of the best features. The backlight is effective and you can make sure the "fn" feature goes into the bin where it belongs so you can use the function keys without a modifier.

3. 6. I do wish the battery life was a little longer, but it's not a dealbreaker for me.
