Hi everyone at the time I had Brondi fx-10, small toys that did their dirty work, they had a clean reception of 5 km, but after 7 years they broke, unfortunately, I needed new ones urgently and I bet on these Motorola XT180 last year I paid them a damn thing thanks to Prime Day about forty euros, a great price. It's not a big deal, I would even say that it's normal because during intensive use the battery only lasts a day. I add my opinion every day after a year of use. Its a good little walkie talkie, its range is no where near what it states of up to 8KM, got them yesterday and done a range test at work, I work in one of the biggest warehouses in England as security, it gets to halfway then loses signal at about 1.

They always work properly, but you need to have an extra set of battery for each talkies because the charge lasts 14 hours. 2KM, voice is clear to about 1KM then crackly for that last bit, this warehouse has alot of metal racking on site, so you'd probably have a better experience with range on a slighly less cluttered site or in general home life.

Hope it helped you have a good day Question: Does the Motorola TLKR Hoornie Microphone Speaker Remote Control work with the XT180? I can't find a protective pouch for this model, it's a shame because they get hit and the screen gets scratched.
