Overall, really enjoying this product so far! But it was well worth the wait to get the color I wanted. I was able to go slow, give it a little shot of air, then keep adjusting the position of the ball inside the cover. Added bonuses, aesthetically pleasing and it actually prompts me to get up off my butt more frequently.

But, I work remote and wear shorts often, and the fabric is itchy and the seams are scratchy on my legs. First, the instructions recommend that if the ball is too difficult to inflate with the pump they provide to use a bike pump for the last part of inflation. In the past, I had tried using a plain exercise ball (without the cover) as a chair. I'm sure it is doable with the little hand-pump but I imagine it would take a lot more time and work — probably 15-20 minutes or more, leave your arm dead from all the pumping with the little plastic hand pump.

It's important to me, because I do a little audio recording and I noticed that even having a big plastic exercise ball in the same room didn't work, I could here the a nasty reverb sound coming from it when I was recording audible sound. It did take some getting used to. "You get what you pay for. It didn't work at all — at least not for me.

But hey, the ball was only $50 and I have gotten more use out of it than I ever thought I would. Maybe I had it inflated too tight at first. I had used a regular exercise ball in the past, but found it a bit finicky - it moved around a lot, needed to be refilled with air frequently, and wasn't making me sit up that straight. Haha.

I got the standard size in the color Anthracite (which is just a gray, see pictures), and the material is felt. Upon arrival, the fabric itself feels roughish but sturdy, the ball looks like a generic exercise ball but it gets better. Another thing that takes a little getting used to, it pushes on your rear-end differently than a chair does, so it can leave you a little sore the first few times you sit on it.

It seriously felt like at first the ball is the incorrect size but as other reviewers have noted, keep inflating and it will fill in! I haaaate getting shocked from static electricity, so I was very to happy to have read about that property of olefin so I immediately went for it. The only wish I have is more colors for olefin, I would've really loved having a darker charcoal gray! The seams help keep it from rolling around.

I have ADHD and like to bounce up and down, move back and forth, sit with one leg, or no legs, etc. One of the problems I have with a regular exercise ball is that it's so clunky and hard to move around - I usually end up kicking it around instead of carrying it. Couldn't recommend more!
