There were several occasions when I genuinely felt the hair stand up on my neck and arms. In addition, there was the return of a classic character that I was certainly not expecting, and this took me completely by surprise. Thanks LLP for another brilliant read.

We'll just have to wait and see. As expected, a brilliant addition to Jack Warr’s journey and I really look forward to seeing what direction he and his family head next. Costco and Jaguar showroom?
On a personal note, I live and have lived in many of the locations that the Jack Warr books are set, and I love how Lynda gives a secret nod to buildings and settings which give the books a real authenticity. He trusts his instincts and acts upon them, despite knowing the trouble this can get him into on a professional and personal level.
A It's not obvious during the read but, when you stop to reflect on book afterwards, it hits you what Lynda has done.
This topped with so much new insight into Jacks family and his 'gift' from Adam gives so many new and exciting avenues that could be explored. Jack’s character is even more charismatic, and his self-confidence has grown. Layered with different characters, countries, and storylines this is a rich tale of the past and present coming together and creating events that change lives. Jack’s relationship with his peers and senior colleagues is evolving and there is a personal journey that will tug at an emotional level.
