The key is definitely to roll clothes to save spaceNegativesOnly 1 I can think of is when it is fully packed the padded portion of the straps was a little too short so it was either the buckle or the strap resting on my shoulder which could be uncomfortable. The zip has a cover which surrounds 3/4 of the bag - I would prefer it without because it makes zipping difficult when full. I will definitely recommend that backpack. Overall very handy, convenient and practical for me.

In total which it might not be obvious from my photo, I managed to pack. (For information, I packed one change of clothes, toiletries, passport, cash & cards, house keys, phone, power bank, iPad, charging cables & plugs, waterproof phone pouch, small handbag, medication and small notebook & pen). Two of the outside pockets have double zips so you can padlock them and carry the bag around on your back all day without having to worry about someone stealing your stuff from behind.
