so much so that this pic doesn't even need a filter! Such a punchy start that continues throughout with the death of a teenager, witnessed by Leonard as he camps on holiday with his family. We've been loving the beach in this beautiful weather.
I was lucky enough as #ScribnerAmbassador to be sent Heatwave by Victor Jestin, a multi-award winning French author. nope too hot? Or are we now thinking.
What an apt book to post ay? I loved it and I totally recommend it! A kind of fascination with attitudes you don't understand. Are we all loving the heat?
It was captivating and totally engaging. I've posted the blurb for this brilliant book that I read in one sitting!
. This short but snappy thriller is also Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month for August 22! I have to say I didn't find any of the characters relatable or likeable but I actually think that's why I was so hooked.
