This past week we gathered all the ingredients for 3 of the Ramen dishes, which was quite tricky as Japanese ingredients are hard to find here locally. Highly recommended, can't wait to try some of the other recipes! This was a fantastic activity for us both as a couple and made the final meal mean so much more than anything we've had before. The recipes are clearly presented and there is a broad range of dishes to try. I loved the whole process, from selecting the easy to follow recipe's, learning about Ramen eticat (also in this book) to chopping the many veggies and grinding down the seasalt in a pestle and mortar.

This cook book is easy to follow and the recipes are 10/10 We now have have all the stocks and sauces on hand for various recipes, which can be stored in a freezer for 3 months.

We have a small kitchen, only room enough for one person to use one surface, and being disabled I can't stand, instead, I sat on the kitchen floor with a little wooden table and chopping board so I could help make the various stocks. Brilliant to have a book of my favourite restaurant.
