I was drawn to read this book by the provocative cover during a time of huge stress and overwork which was causing me to subsist on almost entirely ultra convenient, ultra processed food. . Ever felt like food is controlling you? I think everyone should read this book and then decide for themselves.

My main take away: If I'm snacking on something wrapped in more layers than an onion, and the ingredients list is longer than my arm, it's probably UPF. I genuinely had no idea how bad the situation is. As a non-scientist, concepts are well explained and easy to understand without being dumbed down. Definitely changes your perspective of food industries and the way you look at groceries.
