To get rid of stubborn stains. Still a great product. Love this product after having my sofa cover (from Ikea) almost 6 months decided it was time to clean it. It might just be a very stubborn stain and I didn't soak it long enough.

It doesn't help get baby food stains out very well, this is the only reason I marked it down one star You can see from the picture attached on the left is my cleaned cushion cover and the right one about to be washed the results are amazing, its actually whiter than when I bought the sofa cover. I treated my stains first using a soap bar (Astonish Stain Remover Bar).
