It is amazing how it adds curls. The Turbie Twist and Dollar General one are very thin. I am posting two photos--one with a regular towel, how I've been wrapping it for years, and one with the Turbie Twist.

I bought several wraps to compare - see review below. Turbie Twist uses an elastic band. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because my daughter's long hair does still stick out of the bottom and drip out of the twist if she isn't mindful to tuck it in better, but it's a great product. It is so lightweight and feels great.

They wash well and I hang them to dry. No complaints at all. I ordered this 4 pack, so my 11-year-old could use them; she has a hard time getting ready after the shower while her long hair drips all over her.

If you have very long hair, this band may come in contact with the hair that comes out of the wrap. Love my hair towels.
