One day Leina's friend Oren doesn't return. Amazing details and textures, deep colors. The recommended reading age for this book is 3+ but with it's longer text and darker themes I would recommend this for older children (5+) My daughter loved it and she is 8! It is here that she discovers the secret of the forest and the mystery of the missing townsfolk.

In the forest the people hunt animals and chop down trees. This story is so creative and reminded me of both Alice in Wonderland and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Personally I adore the art work.

The story was wonderful like an old fashion fairy/folk tale, the overall theme is about respecting your environment. But not everyone that goes into the forest comes back out again. This is an original, enchanting fairytale and we couldn't stop turning the pages!
