It perhaps derives from the use of musket ball moulds to make the first round boiled sweets. Sugar, Glucose, Peppermint Oil. The signature product “Black Bullets” is a mint ball using only Sugar, Glucose and Peppermint Oil and as such is the original “natural” product. Originating in the North East of England in 1906 Jesmona is believed to take its name from the Jesmond area of Newcastle. Ingredients: sugar, glucose, oil of peppermint.

I used to spend my dinner money on these, Just like I remember them from 50+ years agoI gave them four stars as the lid is not the original one and was spit. (If you’re going to put a lid on, make sure it fits.

The top plastic lid was split, is there any chance I could have a replacement as he doesn’t eat them all at the same time. Delivered very well. I’ve ordered these before and my dad loves them. ) otherwise it would have been 5 stars
