As a Social Worker and Mindset Coach I thought that I had mastered healthy boundaries. Each chapter has stories that illustrate the topic, as well as an exercise to put the principles into practice. She also asks several sets of questions throughout the book to make you reflect on the topic at hand, and provides lists that serve as relevant examples of the point being made.

” I really enjoyed this book and applied myself by completing the exercises given throughout! Some key gems 💎• Stop thinking about boundaries as mean or wrong ; start to believe that they’re a nonnegotiable part of healthy relationships. Even if you feel you don’t have issues with boundaries. This book is very easy to read and understand.

I feel like a lot of social media preaches the “if they are toxic cut them off” agenda, but I think that is for each person to judge themselves and that everybody is in some way “toxic. I love the tone of the book, its easy to read and gently nudges you towards self improvement!

I’m halfway through this book and it is helping me so much. )This is a good, modern take on boundaries (there's even a chapter on technology/social media), that will be very helpful to folks navigating the process of setting good boundaries, especially if you haven't thought about this before. If you are considering picking this book up, dont second guess it. I spent years upset that I wasn’t taught certain tools in my youth that I felt were imperative to surviving adult-hood.
