I like these shears for use in the garden, cutting Gladiolus flowers and pesky weeds and vines. For now I will say that this is a good tool for a low price.

I don’t know how the spring mechanism works on these, but it works like a dream. I found that with heavy leather gloves on I have difficulty moving the center button to OPEN or LOCK. I’m an avid gardener and bought these to replace my other ones that lasted me about 8 years! The lock feature is very handy and they’ve held up well over the last two years.

At this point I'm still willing to move to 5 star and give it to bad quality control . I have several people I know personally who use this brand and they are as shocked as I am.

These have long been my favorite pruners because of their clean and easy cuts for small (up to about an inch diameter) branches on my shrubs. I mean 27k reviews that's impressiveUpdateI wrote the site, they sent me a new pair quickly. I recommend! The only downside worth mentioning is after a few months the lock mechanism doesn't quite stay in place all the time anymore.

Comfortable to hold and use, too. These are so much better in real life! Arrived slightly oiled to keep shearing action smooth.

I do love Fiskars in all the other products I have but, but to me with arthritis this slide doesn't cut it. Even sturdier, larger branches than the product claim, I tried a few branches on my lemon tree, and it cuts really well. Product is well sharpened and great for ergonomics.
