I loved meeting the Witches, the Ice Eagles and learning more about Phoenixes powers. A tense and gripping sequel. Icegaard is in danger from an evil force the Shadowseam and if the ice palace falls the whole of Ember will come down with it. I’ll start by saying that FIREBORN2 is probably … no it is even better than Fireborn: Twelve and the Frozen Forest and that was one of my all time favourite 2022 reads…FIREBORN2 starts three months after book one finishes with the arrival of a Witch wanting Phoenixes help.
This book is even more of a thrilling adventure than book one was. …“Hope Grows from the Ashes”I was kindly sent an early copy of Fireborn: Phoenix and the Frost Palace by Aisling Fowler for review thank you @tinamories and @harpercollinschBut my dilemma has been on how to actually review one of my most anticipated releases for 2023? I highly recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and couldn't put it down. Full of thrills and breath-stopping moments. Phoenix and her friends Five, Six and Seven embark on an adventure northwards to the Ice Palace to save the whole of Ember. Can't believe I've got to wait until Sept 2024 for the next installment.
