Would make a fantastic gifts for a fellow Crystal lover or someone who appreciates excavation kits. The 'rock' is chalky and seems to mark easily when I poked it through the wrapper with the chisel. Gems are a good size, and it seemed good enough quality.

Made lots of mess but thst was expected and kids love messy play. It is an excellent present for stone lovers or to keep your kids busy.

There's a great variety of crystals, unfortunately we only found 19 crystals when it states that there is 20 on the box however that might be fault of our own. There are twenty gem stones to find and you do so by working like an archaeologist, chipping and brushing away until you get to a gem stone. Five stars from 6 years old digger.
