It widens slightly with washing. Bought these for my spaniels due to the grass seeds at this time of year. Unfortunately for the cat it does not work to cover the ears, if placed in the right position it can take it off with its paws because it is not very tight The cocker tends to pick everything up with her ears, so she only gets it on in the field in the morning so that no awns get in her ear.

I didn’t train them to do that, honest! fit my 2 average sized cats very well. Material is comfortable, not too thick and fits well. I knocked a star off because I think the description could include some examples of breeds each size is suitable for and an image of where to measure their head.

It's a nice soft material and he doesn't show any signs of discomfort whilst wearing it. Regardless, it does exactly what I bought it for and keeps his ears clean! I bought this to keep my spaniel's ears clean when he's eating wet food. We use it to keep our poodle warm on the bike.

The youngest’s ears are very showy and will sometimes slip down out of the snood at the neck end (but her actual ear holes are still covered 😂), and the eldest has short, smooth (clipped) hair on her head which may be making the snood slip backwards more easily than for the other cocker. it also looks very funny Very useful for situations of this type when the Elizabethan necklace does not work. I think the medium would've been too small but likewise the large is ever so slightly too big.

My little dog looks like a mushroom with this earmuff 😂😂 Bought to prevent some very dangerous “holasacco” from entering her ears while she is out alone I bought it because my kitten had a wound on his neck and he kept scratching his paw despite veterinary care. It stays up while he's eating and still but I think if he wore it out on a walk it would fall down. i bought tuis as my cats can get spooked by loud noises like fireworks and building work, and we're having a lot of work done at our house at the moment.
