About the content:The art is amazing, the reimaginations of the heroes in this rocking-attitude works pretty well with the tone of this apocalyptical athmosphere that involves all this world. As always Greg Capullo‘s artwork is just gorgeous. Nevertheless it doesn‘t hurt if you are familiar with the history of the DC multiverse and the Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis storylines.

Cant wait for the rest coming out later this year. This is a must have book! And the book cover is glossy. This book includes the 7 issues and a little sketch gallery plus the variant covers at the end of the book.

I have sent my copy back. Hopefully the next one will be printed qualitatively better. Snyder uses these stories to weave his own storyline of universal proportions.

Good to know, you can read the story without all the tie-in comics. (This book was not buyed for me, I gifted to someone, and he loved it a lot! If you wanted to skip, you could theoretically just read volume five, and than jump to this. Typical Snyder if he continues to tell a story it must be a bigger tale with wider impact.
