*Metal housing, feels premium. The default sound quality is on another level: clean and clear, only for my ears the mids echo so I had to tune down the 200~2k Hz range in EQ. No the paint won't chip, that's coming from people living in the middle of volcanos, I'm in Ireland myself and these bad boys don't even heat up a little after hours of use, the paint would never bubble or peel here unless I was dumb and left them in a room with a high end PC running at max all day, a series x doing the same and all the windows shut but at that stage it's your own fault.

I believe mine are 15% harder because they don't get very loud on my switch but when used with a Dac they're more than loud but I am a rare case they should be perfect to drive with a phone for most. Only complaint is that I wish it would be tuned a little more bright but that’s just my preference.

I own XM4s and despite spending ridiculous money on them I wasn't satisfied fully. *Quality Control (QC) issues on the cable, with a strange bending out of the box. .

They sound. Well that's a lie, there is bass and it's extremely tight and extremely satisfying if you want clarity but if you're a bass head and like your V curve than these aren't for you.

PROS:- Come with a variety of ear tips- Good quality cable, doesn’t make noise when it touches clothing- Comfortable to wear for long periods of time- Detailed sound, however I prefer the Moondrop AriaCONS:- The case they come with is too small for the earphones, they do fit but you have to wind them up a lot and I’m worried it will damage the cable- The design fades over time These really are sparkly and bright because there's borderline no bass. The downside is the bass, it's lacking.
