It could get rather messy if it gets all over your hands. Very easy to use, value for money

Used this to repaint my garage door and various metal works on my garage. I have used this on 2 separate projects but both on fence posts.

Avoid placing the can in direct sunlight. Any good old used paintbrush would do as the finish is insignificant. Wear a pair of suitable gloves to apply.

On another project, I have used a much wider fence posts 4x4 inch as perimeter to a shed base (as seen in photo). Where it was used to errect as fence posts, I applied 2 coats to the bottom section of the posts.
On both occasions, they were applied to reduce and further protect the wooden posts from rain and moisture due to ground contact. Wash and clean any mess immediately with white spirit.
It was a bit like gloss to apply so a little tricky and very sticky but it covers well and makes an amazing job. Nice black finish.
