One word of caution, don’t slide the magnets to move the curtain as it could scratch your door. This is the best invention since sliced bread! This works great on my steel door. Stays on strong.

I bought this rod to hang a curtain over the moon shaped window in my door. This item works perfectly for metal doors. Once I confirmed the door was actually magnetic, ordered the rod and a curtain and stuck it to the door.

It matches the other brushed nickel items in our bathroom. No problem, just move them! The rod is study and works great. Initially, I couldn't figure out how to get the curtain on, because the knobs on either side do not come off.

Very easy to use and install. Yes, you need to buy two rods (One per package) if you want the bottom to also have a rod.

My impression is they are very firm magnets. Different curtains may fit a little different from each other. No mistakes!

Matched it some blackout curtains The cafe curtains are very lightweight so the rod isn't in danger of sliding down because of the weight. Take it off and move it to another area if needed.
