All Directions Hair Dye colours can be mixed together to create your own shades Alpine Green Directions hair dye is a deep dark green hair dye with slight blue tones. Useful Information: Each pot contains 88ml of Directions Semi Permanent hair dye Completely cruelty-free & vegan-friendly. Don't mix directions with peroxide or shampoo that contains conditioner. Please see included manual for application instructions.

I tried violet & lilac this time and it washed out really quick. . It turned out sort of like turquoise on my hair, however my brother was nice enough to say it looked grey. This was the colour that had the most noticeable transference onto clothes and my bed pillow.

I will admit my scalp is a little blue but that's a small price to pay for the colour I want without the damage, and it hasn't stained my pillow like other reviewers have mentioned, I think they haven't rinsed properly. I can imagine the best results are definitely achieved on pre-lightened and bleached hair but this shows that some still can work quite successfully on natural hair.

I should really have done a before and after picture but totally forgot. I didn’t use a brush I just rubbed it all through my hair and hoped for the best but as you can see I didn’t do a bad job. !

But I will try and leave an update and to how long this dye has lasted. The smell of the dye wasn’t unpleasant. I left it on for about 15 minutes maybe slightly over as I was worried my hair might go vibrant pink! UPDATE: After four boxes of hair colour remover my hair was almost my natural dark brown, I have just applied one tub of midnight blue mixed with a little conditioner, I put it on dry hair and left it on for about two hours and I am sooooo pleased with the result.

I've tried a few of these Directions semi-permanent dyes on un-bleached hair now and have had mixed results. Both photos are in natural light but the one on the left was on a grey day and was the same day it had been dyed. I would definitely recommend!
