You can coil the cable inside the base if it sits right next to a plug socket to tidy it away. Thankfully it can be painted over I should imagine, with some black paint, or maybe even removed with a bit of wet and dry paper - which I intend to do.

The Kettle is fine, feels well made , nicely balanced, fills from the spout , boils quickly and quietly, looks better than most, BUT …. The media could not be loaded. Having shopped around at what is available, I think it is a bit over priced, (I would pitch this at £35) if the knob was better designed and the band was stainless steel like the rest of the kettle, it would be worth £50 7 litres.

Looks great and good quality! The kettle is as big as my previous ones so not sure why it's lower capacity.
