❤️ . It’s a great book to get for kids who are interested in getting involved in the kitchen, or it might even spark interest for some children who aren’t so keen. This is the perfect first cook book!

The drawings are really cool inside and my little one is really drawn to the book. I also like the fact that there are some good veggie recipes too, like the veggie hot dogs although that particular recipe forgot to mention adding the beans to the rest of the mix. On page 10 are some handy tips entitled BEFORE YOU GET GOING, with a timely reminder:🧼 'Finally, I am a nurse, so it is especially important for me to remind you to wash and dry your hands before you begin cooking, and after handling any raw meat.

The illustrations are beautiful and easy to follow. I love how simple all of the recipes seem to be and how easy the book makes them look to make.

I really love David’s baking and cooking and have looked forward to his first book since winning GBBO ! I also love all the breakfasts and porridge topping ideas. My two sons absolutely love the cook book and open it up to see what they can cook next. Sometimes there are suggested variations and a strange tweak or two that you might not be expecting, such as a touch of spinach to your batter for BANANA BEAR PANCAKES or quinoa to your SCRAMBLED EGGS!
