Really don't understand the previous reviews that instructions are hard to understand, pretty straight forward. Whilst working out how to solve this problem, I spotted a headrest dog guard in a parked car, and searched Amazon to find one for my car.

Purchased to go in the back of a Ford Focus to keep our 27kg labrador in the back on car journeys. It was easy to set up and took my hubby about 15-20 minutes to install. as long as he knows he's stuck there he stays put. My only worry is the possibility of a rear end shunt which could endanger the lives of my dogs but, overall, I'm really glad that they are now behind bars.

Hope this review helps those with a smaller hatchback who are wondering whether it will fit. Bought this for our BMW i3.

But I was in for a surprise, and I now see why it is a best seller. But I'm pleased to say that my perseverance and determination paid off, and I was mighty proud of myself once it was in situ. I've had to remove the parcel shelf so I can't leave stuff in the boot, but I feel we are all a lot safer now the dogs are in a secure place.

Fantastic product, it does what it's supposed to, the only reason I gave it 4 starts is the instructions are not that clear, it is quite easy to set up once you have figured it out tho, so to make it easier for everyone else I have uploaded numbered pics and this is how to set it up:1-pic of the box2-what you get in the box, the main rack and the 2 sides, the holders and the screws3-the car boot, I have a Vauxhall Mokka, the dimensions on my boot are;width - 1001length -745height - 485capacity - 3264-ok, so here is where we start to attach it to the headrests, centre the main rack on the boot or the car, then attach the poles with the holes facing down and out, make sure they are aligned with one of the headdress metal poles. Very sturdy and chocolate lab is now in jail in the boot.
