At the end, I've used CrystalDiskMark to benchmark it. 5 drive (had to source the cable from a well-known online chinese retailer though, only a few pounds but a bit annoying it wasn't included)I really only needed about 512gb and decided to go for this cheap but well-reviewed drive. I did not want to spend too much money as I thought to give it away or sell once it was repaired. I opened the casing of the drive.

I used it to upgrade my internal storage on Xbox One console which doubled my capacity and slightly improved load times on games you typically notice it on GTA, RDR and more. Fast booting times now and running smoothly no noise what so ever from the SSD. I had no issues creating a partition and formatting the drive.

My imac is running as if I just made a brand new purchase. It has a Maxio-Tech controller. Easy to fit and loads Windows quickly although I may swap it over on to the NVMe drive with is 5 x the read speed

It's seems great, copied over 200GB of files with no issues, love having these modern silent fast drives in my laptops. So I wanted to add some extra storage to a new Lenovo laptop and saw there was space for a sata 2. Reccomended. I'm fairly certain the NAND is manufactured by YMTC, a very large Chinese company that provide NAND to many other drive manufacturers (like Netac, Lexar, Silicon Power, and others).

Used to upgrade my Dad's PC speeds are consistent and massively improved the responsiveness of his older system. I also upgraded my 8GB ram to a totoal of 24GB. A budget controller but what you would expect in a budget SSD. It's just as fast as more expensive WD and Crucial sata drives I also own so very happy with this low cost solution (see attached photo for crystal diskmark speeds)If I have any issues in the coming months I will post back here, so if no edit then everything's fine!

It's almost impossible to find something so good for this price range. However, I noticed a slowdown after filling about 60% of its capacity, unlike my previous SSDs.

Easy to install, snug fit onto the bracket, installed OS onto it. On a site I use some people were concerned that these drives were genuine, so I purchased one for testing.
