Used on a PC, in a 4 Slot Hot Swap Cage, recovered from an old server. This type of outer packaging can definitely have a negative impact on the life expectancy of the hard drive.

. No buzzer or knock at the door. I have this enclosure right next to my computer and can barely hear them operating. Usually, I'm more of a digital western but now that this brand is currently banned for Synology NAS because of the technology used, I switched to Seagate.

There is clearly written on the data sheet. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the product but it remains to be seen how long its duration will be. Each in their own little box with the cushioning feet attached. I have never done an RMA with anyone before so am not sure how long it will take to get a new drive.

For correctness should be changed the indication of the Cache which is NOT 256MB but 64. 09. Both disks Raid1 (thick volume) run quietly in the NAS, a very minimal rattle can be heard from time to time, nothing else. It has a 7200 RPM rotational speed and a 256MB cache, making it a fast performer for a mechanical hard drive.
