Readers can also find hidden mythical woodland creatures. Hunter. As a curiosity, after Hilda's story, comes a very funny page that focuses on “the Wood man”, which reminded me of the comic strips of “Calvin and Hobbes”.

He loves the Moomin books and myths, so this book is right up his alley. I am attaching photos showing the author's beautiful illustrations. I knew her thanks to a “rare” comic book, “Map of Days” by R.

Well, I came back to it after meeting the publisher that publishes them in England, Nobrow press. I also enjoy the material of the paperback novel, it's different than what most graphic novels are printed on but I think it gives it a nice rustic feeling. That said, Hilda's first volume in English, totally recommended and I've already ordered the next ones via Amazon.
