And set the mic noise gate to streaming within the computer program when you set it up. I have audio technicas and these headphones are up there. And i often use them to compare agains new headphones for quality and loudness.

Paired with a Sound Blaster Z sound card, these headphones deliver crisp, clear sound that enhances every gaming session. Of your spending more then 120$ on a headset you will regret NOT buying these. So i ordered the GSP 600's from sennheiser because friends gave me a recommendation on it as they had the adjustable top headband to change the pressure points around the head but no matter what settings i had it onit constantly gave me headaches and heavy pressure on the ears even though the ears fit well around the pads. BUY THEM.

You can hear your own voice if you want using the mixamp and it's crystal clear. I'm sorry but your controller absolutely is not powerful enough to drive $160 headphones.
