Also if one dampens the sucker base before attaching it to your windscreen it will not fall off. I note that its successor, the 412GW does have such a mode. I've suggested to the supplier that they need to redesign the 512 GW's mount to make it much shorter the same as the one on the 402G. This is something to improve.

My 402G had random corrupt videos from the first week of use even before it's battery died (at which point they were very frequently being corrupted). I bought it to replace my Nexbase 402G as it's battery stopped holding a charge after only a year (resulting in the last video on each use being corrupted). And being in Kent is nothing like being somewhere that has hot temperatures all the time!
