A top tip for preparing glass area to be sprayed is to used methylated spirit (do not use white spirit), which gets the surface squeaky clean and ready to cover. As you cannot redcoat for 20mins. I brought 3 cans but used 1. I think I put too many layers on in one go and it was quite thick at the edges where I'd left it clear.

Followed the instruction and it applied easily and happy with the result, but it was a very small piece and could be sprayed flat which helped. I would even hesitate to use indoors when well ventilated. Happy with the outcome but thought it would have been a bit more frosted. Absolutely perfect.

You can clearly see the frosted effect with the stenciled elephants at the bottom. It really does smell so need mask, goggles and good ventilation.

I made my template and masked the area. I sprayed twice on each piece as that's the shade I wanted. I cleaned the offended area and then resprayed 5 more layers.

They literally leave nowhere to hide and always seem to catch you looking your least attractive. I only used it for a small shelf which I couldn't find in frosted glass due to small size. I did many coats to build it up.

A word of caution if you're new to this is, make sure you wear a mask (you do NOT want to breathe any type of can spray in), have ample ventilation and that you have covered surrounding areas, especially floors - frosting sprays all leave a powdery residue which in my experience is unavoidable. You do need clean glass so don’t forget your methylated spirit to clean the glass.

Clean windows fully first. I did a test on another bottle first and put quite a few layers on in the one go (following the instructions of waiting a little between layers). Used an empty whisky bottle and didn't clean it beyond soaking in water to get the label off, but the frosting appears to have taken really well.
