He also goes into the impact of our own growth and focus on God bettered through fasting--so that's good since we here in USA often don't fast and it really helps us REFOCUS ourselves on JESUS instead of the desires of ourselves. I have just started the book but am already interested. This book aims to convict and motivate church leaders and pastors or anyone involved in the body of Christ in mentoring and serving (which should be ALL of us who are adopted into God's Family through His grace and salvation and forgiveness!

Author is a good writer I usually don’t read many books. None of us can do this perfectly, but may Jesus mold me to be more like Him through me humbling myself and praying in His Spirit! Isn't it amazing because of Jesus' grace in dying in our place and rising to live forever to conquer death itself--that we, lowly humans can come DIRECTLY into God's throne-room of grace talk with HIm like our Abba Daddy and receive His will, wisdom and grace in our time of need and searching as well as time of joy and worship to Jesus!
It does have a lot of examples and personal stories that at times loose me, but the overall firmness on the truth of scripture and the examples from the apostle Paul and Jesus Himself are wonderful! (Hebrews 4)How important it is for us to keep up a conversation with our Savior Jesus!
