But the dark rich pigment payoff is something I love this brand for and it STICKS when you want and can be erased where you want! Bought these for my first art class and used them the whole semester and still have plenty charcoal sticks left. Be gentle bcuz they're very soft and can snap if you aren't aware of your pressure.

Today I was just experimenting and decided to do a portrait of the late great Tupac. Otherwise, I love these and will order again from this company. They come in many different sizes, love the huge one for toning up the page, the super thin ones do break pretty easily.
