I have heard really great things about Japanese whisky and wanted to give some a try without any strings. I was personally pleased with this set. It was also packed well enough that it would make a good gift.

Not sure in the taste as it’s a gift but will keep you posted. My box contained White OAK Akashi, Hibiki Japanese Harmony, Togouchi 12 Year Old, Nikka Pure Malt Red, Nikka Whisky From The Barrel. The box arrived neatly packed, with professionally sealed 3cl bottles. They seemed bigger than what the description said, the packaging looks classy and also with the wax tops.

As with any selection, there were hits and misses but I feel I got my money's worth since I found a couple of future bottle purchases. It's a decent sized measure and in fact I was able to have a tasting session with a friend included since we were only sampling for tasting notes and impressions.
