It comes in a smart box which makes it ideal as a gift. It has a larger surface area than many of the other similar products so should be able to absorb more moisture.

I dried out the car as much as possible before using it (removing existing condensation with kitchen roll and running the air con with maximum blast hot air) and cleaned the screen thoroughly, which are both tips I found online. It is definitely better with the dehumidifier pad, but it's not the magic solution I had hoped. It also comes sealed in a plastic bag inside the box, so it hasn't been absorbing moisture whilst stored in the warehouse. This is an attractive grey felt product and looks much nicer sitting on the dashboard than some of the plastic models.
However, it hasn't made that much difference to the amount of condensation I get on the windscreen. There has been some improvement, but some days I still have to wipe the screen with a cloth and blast the hot air to clear it.
