The controller itself has a easy to read display and three on/off positions per 24hrs. Replaced a defunct ST7100 controller. It replaced my old Honeywell ST6400C programmer exactly as stated. I will change the backplate later, but for now it's up and running.

Whilst I think the product is ok, I haven’t checked it, however as the seal was already broken before I received the package not sure I could return it if I wanted to! Works well, simple and easy to install. Excellent. Exactly the same backplate as old Honeywell 703010000B programmer.

Wiring is different, but easy to configure. Looks like an easy timer to use, with a very clear display. Came set up with current time and date. You cannot use the same back plate as the 7100, but it really was very easy, the instructions show how the 7100 and the 9400 wires should be 'rewired'.
