How have I not come across this author before! Feeling trapped, she’s left with no other option than to cross the Styx River into the lower city where they mythical Hades lives, but to Persephone going into the devil’s den is better than the option of returning to Zeus and ending up like the last two Heras. Im fairly certain there's a 3rd one that I forgot to take a pic of, I'm considering using a pen to try and correct the first one lol but no other complaints! The world-building is vivid, and the narrative is engaging, making it a must-read for fans of fantasy romance.

The book is beautiful and the narrative is engaging, the point of view varies between Persephone and Hades, which only adds to the richness of the characters' details. She is disgusted by the trading of people, services and mayhem displayed by the power-hungry ruling Thirteen.

She didn’t drag this out into several books which I have to admit… I loved. All I can say is that we all love a morally gray character who is perceived as the villain with a tragic back story that falls head over heals for the love interest (and he’s a d o m) *swoon*. As the pair's desire grows stronger, Hades is willing to risk all-out war to keep his city safe and the woman he craves at his side. I loved how Hades' darker instincts manifest themselves in his creative and seductive sexuality as well as his restraint on his violent physical impulses while showing his caring and protective personality in his loyalty and treatment of his people.

Without man options, she flees across the River Styx to the Lower City. I'd have loved to of seen more of them and hope we do in future books. !

This book is sizzling hot, Hades and Persephone have some wicked chemistry 🔥🥵 I loved the world they live in, the way the society is structured and all the characters! I was expecting a spicy romance, however, I had not anticipated it to be so sweet and wholesome. The main thing that keeps Hades going is his need for revenge with Zeus and ensuring that his city is safe, but then Persephone comes in and changes his priorities and suddenly life has a new meaning for him and he starts to envision a life with her despite knowing that he would never be the villain in her story and force her to stay with him.
