For those intrigued by the mythology of Medusa or simply seeking a captivating read, I wholeheartedly recommend picking up this book. The way Jessie Burton portrays Medusa is exactly how I would imagen her to be, she captures her perfectly, and Perseus too! Despite my limited knowledge of Greek mythology, I found myself drawn to the story of Medusa and her struggles.

This speaks volumes about the book's impact. I cannot wate to read another of Jessie Burton's books! I am now eager to explore more of Burton's works, as her talent for storytelling and her ability to breathe new life into ancient myths is evident in Medusa. Although short (around 170 pages/thirteen chapters), I really enjoyed this story.

To my surprise, she had just finished it and shared my enthusiasm. The book kept me on edge the whole time wating for the moment of truth (I wont say any more as I don't want to spoil it)It got me out of my reading slump and left me feeling so free and powerful! The book cover is beautiful, too.
