I am currently an emotional wreck after this book🤪Kalynn Bayron I have a bone to pick with you, was everything truly necessary! I also found that I learnt a lot about different plants and their medicinal uses in this book, Kalynn has clearly done a lot of research during her writing process. Loved it, loved it, loved it! This gripping and touching story has something for everyone!

Marie & Nyx are 2 characters I need to know more about - especially Nyx! I can't say I have any cons to this book given it's an advanced readers copy (only some minor misspelling which hopefully the editor will fix by publication time). I read Cinderella is Dead and I really enjoyed it, therefore I decided to give this a try.

Every chapter moves the plot and the characters forward. The characters were witty and loveable, the description of Bri’s magic was spellbinding (I found myself being truly jealous I didn’t possess it myself), and the plot was perfectly paced and intriguing the entire way through. *TW*This book contains details of violence, murder, homicides, poisons, injuries, etc. So far so good…

If I could have read a book on the origins of their love story, I would have devoured it in one sitting. The intwined Greek Mythology had me. How did she get her powers, why does she have them, and what will she do with them? Bri lives with her two adoptive mothers, Angie and Thandie, and is determined to live a normal life away from magic.
