The short chapters combined with the revelations throughout made sure that there was always a reason for me to read ‘just another page. This is a dark and twisty psychological thriller, that will have you biting at your nails in suspense and anticipation as you delve deeper into this book.

And what is their motive? The research into the area was second to none. She accepts and travels to the imposing and isolated Swiss Alps hotel setting, where his fiancée Laure works. This book has a cinematic quality to it and cannot wait to watch this as a film or mini series.

I actually felt as thought I was there, at the Swiss Alps. I think those reviews put me off reading this for a while to be honest, but it proved to be a real page turner for me. Overall, whilst I wouldn’t say the book was scary it was definitely creepy and I thoroughly enjoyed myself unraveling the mystery of the Sanatorium.
