I really think a lot of people will be able to relate to the characters experiences. I love the friendship between Ellie & Andrew along with the romantic relationship with Ellie & Jack. She lost her dream job, her mother is the worst and is about to lose her apartment. I highly recommend it to all the romance readers.

And even though it’s marketed as a holiday romance it’s not that christmassy. I loved how the book was set up from last Christmas, to the snow day webcomic, to present day. Problem is that Ellie’s still hung up on the woman she met last Christmas. And you can probably tell where this is going, it’s messy and I’m here for it.

In the off chance you ever see this review, thank you. It’s only when the very wealthy and dashingly handsome Andrew proposes a faux marriage of convenience scheme that Ellie sees a way out.
Alison, Alison, Alison. The story was wonderfully told over the dual time lines. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, 5 stars remember. It’s after yet another disappointment from her inept “mother” (I use the term lightly) that Ellie finds herself crying in a local bookstore.
Ellie is a talented artist who has suffered more than her share of hitting proverbial brick walls. Which is amazing, obviously. It was refreshing to have so much representation in a book and I hope to read more books like this. First of all, the DIVERSITY👏🏻From race, to gender, to sexuality, and mental health we have it all.
