I am not a fun on yellowish looking hair so I was really worried. I’m really pleased with the results but here are a few tips. Make sure you wear gloves when applying and I put moisturiser around my hair line as it can leave skin coloured purple. I can see this bottle lasting me a while but will be buying more when I run out to keep my silver colour topped up :)

I normally don't review anything but I really had to in this occasion. I have tried everything to keep my grey and blonde hair toned.

Tip. I let my hair grow out to its natural grey. It keeps my hair pure white as you can see from the photo and I'm never worried about my toner fading or becoming too yellow between salon visits. This is probably not that good for damaged hair.

Have used Fanola No More Yellow for over 2+ years, along with the Fanola hair mask on my white hair, since before the pandemic began, and, nothing else, not even regular shampoo and no visits to the salon. My hair needed nothing. I wanted to dye my natural blonde hair a silvery colour and was advised by a hairdresser to buy this toner.

I will be keep buying this even after going back to my hairdresser to refresh the colour once a month etc. It’s going to work best on light blonde or grey hair. If your hair is porous use it as a shampoo a few times and gradually tone it. If it floats it isn’t porous.

So happy with the tone. :DAfter the second use, there's a big difference (my after pic is how my hair looks now) and I'll continue to use it to gradually get a greater effect. Otherwise it will take on a purple hue. I have hard water so that is difficult.

I left it on 3 minutes and then used it as a shampoo. Definitely recommend. After I had washed it and dried it, there was a definite dulling of the yellow. This is my new holy grail for keeping my hair toned.
