This book although expensive to buy is brilliant. Be aware though if 9 seems daunting, it soon becomes clear that's just the tip of the iceberg. Started when I joined a evening class at my local college in Bradford, taught by one of Bradford's restaurant chefs. The best part is that recipes are well written, easy to follow.

The sauce is spot on. Chicken & spinach curry my favourite at the moment. Even though I say it myself, it was pretty good but that's enough self praise.

The ingredients every Indian cook will have in her store cupboards. Image shown, my attempt at Tamarind Salmon Curry, which my wife described as the most delicious Indian meal she has ever had. book is good gives u a head start in what needs to added to the dishes and the rest u improvise.

Making the effort to obtain the other required ingredients has definitely been worth it and I'm glad I finally made the leap to massively widen my culinary skills. I just always need the ideas and work on them with what i have in my cupboard.
