I ordered them so that when I put paste or pate in the kongs, rather than have to spread it round inside of kong with my finger (as the pastes are disgusting to me, the human,) I use one of these spatulas and then chuck it in the dishwasher once done. .

Bought 3 x small Kongs, almost bought the x-small, thank god I didn't! So far the Kong itself appears pretty robust, so fingers crossed it lasts a long time. My 2yo, 31kg Lab loves it, full or not. If you are stuck on filling ideas the Kong website and Pinterest having lots of recipes.

As I said, 14 mini Markies are quite a lot for one dog in one sitting and once the treat that's bunging the hole comes out, everything comes out v quickly. 05.

You can fill these with lots of things, so vegetables, etc and I like the idea that in the summer I could put things in and then put them in the freezer, especially if we get another summer like this years heat. The biscuits fit in well and they do have to try hard to get them out so one biscuit lasts a long time and it is keeping them occupied for extended periods but it is only one biscuit, so not to many in a day to pile on the pounds.

I have also bought the medium version of these to mix it up a bit for them. I bought the X-large for my 20kg puppy (advice was to size up when buying a Kong Classic). So, these make her work for the piece of cheese she gets when I make a sandwich. I also have the kong paste to go in them, but don’t use it each time as it isn’t cheap and kong biscuits.
